    don't get me wrong here. I find them interesting. But it seems like every week there is new 3d Gaussian splatting post on the front page, with some new technique etc.

  7. Ask HN: Are there alternatives to artificial neural networks?

    I'm asking because i'm curious is this really the only the only way? The closest I can see are SVMs which seem to be easier to train but require more work for inference.
