It's an excellent text to be sure, but I wouldn't call it advanced. PCL was the the first real Lisp text I read, and I found it to be a superb introduction to the subject.
It's absurdly hideous. I would be embarrassed to carry that.
Whether it's interesting in its own right or not is not the issue. The subject matter is of a political nature, and doesn't really afffect or concern the technical community moreso than any other demographic group.…
