They have to keep him since his hype train is what keeps the stock price high. Probably not going to end well for any long term holders of the stock.

I've used Augment before moving to Claude, they are pretty similar, often can't tell the difference. I don't think there is that much difference in the dev focused llms.
Its just stripping types, so new constructs should not matter - there is no parsing.
