The 00000000000.cfg stuck out to me too, because that's the default/base config name for polycom phones.
Given the context probably Platform Abstraction Layer.
It's an acquired taste. The sketcher is actually pretty good these days and way snappier than Fusion 360 on my machine.
That is a long trip from downtown; but utterly worth it.
There are some diffuser mods available too that look like they would make a big difference.
The option these days for Vets is sell to PE, shut down, or try to find a younger DVM who wants to take over the practice and work in for a couple of years. But the younger DVMs have debt to pay and need to take the PE…
It's worth noting that both TapChanger and StealthChanger both require a flying gantry and won't work on a Trident style machine (and thus aren't suitable to a lot of CoreXY type machines).
I know I personally mapped one with a GPS and canoe.
Really great book I bought years ago from a recommendation on HN; of course.
Yes but. It turns out that PV solar wins on maintenance by a lot; since you don't have to run hot water pipes and keep the solar heater from leaking. With a reasonable system design you can pretty much just connect the…

It's identical in design to any number for Makita, Dewalt, or other nicer brands (1k$ from Festool). The point was that it's not a 15K$ tool. It's a 200$ tool for a Dewalt. SMH my head. Yes of course you could buy a…
To be fair you can buy a china biscuit cutter on Amazon for 50$.
I'm willing to bet that people feeling like they're on the precipice of a civilization ending event and the massive uptick in authoritarian rhetoric and action probably had something to do with that.

Well by all accounts (of people that seem competent on the internet...) the source is just fine as it's own beacon. Even detectable by a low flying helicopter with the right equipment.
Basically any air charter service (no matter how small) will have access to the no fly list. It's honestly surprising that it's not up to date online within minutes.
I thought I was going crazy when their website kept pushing me to the app and I couldn't find an activate modem link. Please, why? Why is this necessary?
Lots of mine & industrial vehicles are electrified. In underground mining it's attractive because the vehicle is in a very confined space (easy to run cables to) and it's doubly attractive because of the emissions issue…
Ugh, McMaster, Grainger, Digikey and Mouser are such a treat compared to Amazon.
Anything more than your basic soldering iron is probably running a PID loop to control temperature. I don't know if my hakko is supported by IronOS but I could easily see it as a useful option. It's the flashlight guys…
Military aircraft frequently operate with ADS-B off even here in the US. The whole premise is nonsense. If a military aircraft is being seen on ADS-B it's because they want to be seen. I think the author is trying to…
The more correct term would probably be a figure 8 on a bight. But since climbing harnesses have permanently sewn loops to tie into you can't actually tie it on a bight. You retrace the knot. Otherwise it's a standard…
I like Mountain Project sitting at my desk but physical guidebooks lend themselves well to the half hiking involved in most climbing expeditions (despite the weight of a physical book). There's just something about…
There is a hack to this whole affair... Know how big your tank is, do the math (overestimate a bit) and ask for a prepaid fill up. If you don't manage to use the whole prepay the remainder will be credited back to your…
