Macbook users have to do something like this when moving their SSD drive to other machine! Not very user friendly!
Buy extra cloud storage, buy extra connectivity for backups, buy extra desoldering station.... Or maybe just take screw driver and move it to next machine.

Apple does not have enterprise grade laptop with replaceable SSD. They need to be more competitive!
