Immigration policies are never mentioned because they are a taboo topic, which already means we are winking with one eye as we are giving Zizekesque reasonings and conclusions.
Build a house? Or many? Start a house-building start-up and get tech VC money interested in it, claim there’s some AI or put them on the blockchain and make a mobile app or something and VC’s will poor cash in to your lap faster than you can build em…… but alas, always the problem is red tape, “zoning” and probably NIMBY-ism
Yes. Not everyone has to live in CA. It’s a self compounding problem. Build more housing to allow more jobs which need more housing. Maybe let the free market decide and jobs will spread out into lower cost areas.

I think it's mostly fire safety issues you have to solve.
Not sure you'll solve the actual issue around building permissions and NIMBY. The population has become to easy to control. It's too easy blaming poverty on the 1% not where it lies, mainstream America.
