Similar story. I did have a pro subscription as a trial. I'm finding the free tier is as good(for my purposes) as the paid model.
I use the trust but verify method. Build in snippets, review what AI spits out and chive on if it meets my satisfaction. I cannot blindly write something with AI and utilize it. Keeping build in steps keeps me as well…
