Upgrading the UI from year 2000 and improving the UX would incite me to consider Zulip as a potential alternative. Bashing a competitor in a blog post does not.

It really doesn't. In my experience Swiftfin on ATV is at least ten years behind Plex in terms of functionality, reliability, codec support, UI polish and overall UX.
