I read somewhere once that Sam Altman sounds like a name for a fictional villain made up by Hideo Kojima for Metal Gear Solid, and it will never not make sense.

Recently I went through the list of all of the subs that I follow and 80% of them were all cat related.
Cookie vs biscuit, vacation vs holiday, gasoline vs petrol, etc, etc.
I can't help but keep thinking that client-side scripting was a mistake. Sure, the web would be a lot more primitive without it, but I'm not convinced that wouldn't be for the best.
The constant overlapping dialogue as you kept on clicking wasn't an exaggeration.
Despite the fact that a lot of dvd menus were confusing to navigate and / or outright ugly, it's a shame that it became another lost art form. The bad ones were often spectacularly bad, though lol

Not gonna lie, I would like a "Black Edition" of macOS. There is a decent OS buried under tons of rubble.

We really don't need a new desktop OS every year.
Sequoia was the Snow Leopard of the 2020s. Going from that high to the lows of tahoe or golden gate is a real and jarring downgrade.
It's obviously white and gold.
My idiot brain's first thought was "goddamn Canonical and their feature creep nonsense. what the hell have they done now?" before reading the article.
For something to be considered dead, it must have been alive in the first place, which was never the case with the Copilot PC brand.
Went cold turkey during the first covid lockdown. It was a combination of not being able to go out to buy cigarettes and also the fear of dying since I was a heavy chainsmoker. Honestly, I didn't miss it once.
Year 2 of GF might be my favourite memory of any video game, ever.
Never met anyone who used siri out in public, to be honest.
What downgrade? A typical Gnome desktop is far more coherent than Windows or even macOS in some regards these days.
I still don't see a good reason to upgrade from Sequoia.
The best way that my desktop can show me love is by being a glorified application launcher and nothing more. Also, the less meta/data that it sends back to its vendor the more love I feel that I am receiving.
I wish that a consortium of Android phone makers would/could "LibreOffice" Android.
You'd have to pay me as well to use any Microsoft product, which is exactly what's been happening at my place of work haha
